Pagani Arranque

This project was done during my third term of Transportation Design studies.The project was a super car design between some specific brand choices that we were offered. I decided to go with Pagani. I always loved the amount of the attention to details in Pagani supercars. In my humble opinion, I think the design of this brand could use better aesthetics and this was my attempt on achieving an aesthetically pleasing design, while keeping the key features of a Pagani super car perceivable for any car enthusiast. My inspiration for this project at firs was a competition series of FUJI D6 special edition bicycle frame, but during the sketch ideation of the project, I was thinking about the Italian flag badges mounted on different areas of the body, and suddenly I started to visualizing a flag movement in the wind and then it was when "LIGHT BULB!!!" I immediately started sketching around the idea and that's where the major theme of this car came to life! If you pay attention to the side view of the car and the color separation, the body color is the reminiscent of a flag in the wind! This project is one of my favorites during my time at Art Center, because it was my first sexy supercar concept. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I did designing it :)
